The biggest Bridlington Spa crowd for over 14 months witnessed a memorable evening of action on a windy East Yorkshire seafront. As requested by avid Bridlington fans, Megaslam welcomed a host of new faces into the ring, all looking to make their mark on the company and the hard to win over South Marine Drive venue fanbase. Of course 'Royal Hall Brawl 2018' also listed familiar faces, including Danny Hudson (top middle). The extremely popular Merseysider was pitted against Durham's Heavyweight force, Rampage Brown, in what was arguably Hudson's biggest career battle. Rampage, a former face in WWE NXT now plies his trade all over the world and is feared by many a competitor. In a back and forth brawl, to the fans delight, Hudson grabbed the win out of nowhere with a stinging super kick. The victory now propels the Liverpudlian into 3rd on the contenders list to the Megaslam Championship. In other notable bouts, El Ligero defeated up and comer, Myles Kayman, before losing to the debuting Lion Kid 'Super Simba' and Dan Evans regained his Megaslam Championship by defeating regular foe, Seth Skyline. The next Megaslam presentation at Bridlington Spa will be the start of the summer season in the venue, Monday 23rd July and shows will follow each Monday evening, leading to the final Bridlington date, the annual Legends Show.

The Easter period saw 24 Megaslam Live Events in Holiday Centres across the United Kingdom. Established in 2009, Megaslam have been presenting shows at centres since 2011 and have seen some big names appear on their popular shows. Once again, the stars aligned this Easter as Former WWE Tag Team Champion, ECW Star, Rene Dupree returned to the company with thousands relishing the chance to see the French-Canadian up close. Dupree kicked off the short but action filled stay at Pontins Southport before moving onto Brean Sands and finally Camber Sands, seeing him team with Craig West to defeat Lewis Mousey and Megaslam Champion, Dan Evans. Dupree has stated he would like to commit to more Megaslam dates in the future and matchmakers are working hard to make this happen.

After seeing numerous sell out audiences from the start of 2018, Megaslam management have decided to cancel their annual break in May and June and continue presenting their well fellowed family entertainment touring schedule. Kicking things off in May is a first time visit to Coventry as action will take place at the Britannia Coventry Hotel. The concorde suite inside the popular hotel holds just under 500 and matchmakers are expecting those seats to be snapped up quickly. Following on from that, Shrewsbury & Wisbech will get their first taste of Megaslam action as the company comes to the Buttermarket (Shrewsbury) and Queen Mary Centre (Wisbech) respectively. For the first time since 2015, action will be see in Southport where Megaslam visits the Britannia Prince of Wales Ballroom. Following on from successful shows at the Britannia Hotels, Megaslam have made arrangements with the company to present Live Events nationwide. On Sunday 3rd June, we are back by popular demand at Hampshire venue, the Ferneham Hall in Fareham. Usually the company visits Fareham once a year but after nearly 700 fans crammed into the established venue in January, matchmakers have decided to present a special bonus half term extravaganza.

Another big return is planned when the stars visit Stoke on Trent. Following on from January's 900+ attendance, Megaslam are promising a top bill of wrestling when they return on June 8. All the big stars will be there along with some new faces and the show will be headlined by a massive 8 Man Tag Team Elimination contest and finally on June 16th a big bill will see battle commence at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness, again following well attended summer shows at the Lincolnshire seaside venue. Tickets for all shows are available to book on this website.

ALSO: Megaslam action at Holiday Centres around the UK from 25th May until June 2nd. Megaslam will be at Matlock Farm Park in June.
